got an fsa headset, just wondering which way do the top and bottom bearings slide on ? which side facing up etc does it matter? thx

This is how the top end goes together (for a cartridge model) and the bottom is mirrored, but instead of a split ring, it is the fork crown race...

Matters. Top bearing chamfer side down. Bototm bearing chamfer side up.

that's what i thought cause on the top and the bottom of the head tube its got a little dip on either side so its pretty obvious looking at it now lol thanks for advice anyway, like i said first time doing it 🙂
