Heading up Saturday til Tuesday and was wondering on any mountain biking that is particularly good.

Get the Vertebrate Dales North book, there's a few loops either from Hawes or from very close. Slightly further away at the lower end of Swaledale (half an hour or so driving) is Dales Bike Centre, Stu will help you out with routes.

Thanks - I was going to post something similar. We're off to Ard Rock in a couple of weeks to watch my son and his mates racing - and are planning on staying on in the area to ride for a few days after the eventl - this is just the sort of thing we're looking for.

Worth taking the mountain bike up then Trekster how much of a ride would be from the start of the Borrowdale start to Hawes if I decided to leg it on the road?
