65" inch telly (as a joint "present") though we actually got it a few weeks ago.

And a surprise pair of tickets to a Jimmy Carr gig 👍

My (ahem) fiancé got me a list item which was a new stool for my garage/workshop which I already put to good use today stripping cranks off to fit new DUB preload adjuster, replacing a pivot bolt and serviced my oneup crapness. He then surprised 'us' with the Lucy Pittaway print I wanted for our half decorated living room. I got my best friend to make us a frame for our os map print for the garage. I was already lucky enough to receive a new macbook from my mum n dad a little before Christmas but got a new long sleeve jersey and hiking top along with some wittards hot choc. Very pleased!

Whilst it didn’t exactly come wrapped in paper under the tree, my wife and I spent Xmas with our two week old newborn son. Only took a few years trying, then a few more years on an IVF waiting list.

Probably one of the best Christmas we’ve had. Bloody puggled mind you. </span>

Fantastic news - my daughter's birthday is 20th Decembe and Christmas babies are very precious peasants

Was lucky (again, maybe writing a list has something to do with it!).

Bike stuff was a new helmet, replacement rear mech for my bent one, torque keys and  riser bars for the singlespeed goofing about bike.

And then a cool vintage 135mm Zeiss lens, a camera backpack to store that and the rest of my small vintage glass collection, and a really nice brass Kaweco fountain pen that I've been geeking over since I saw it in the gift shop at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the summer.

Rather indulgently (and I know I'm super fortunate to be able to do this right now) I've also ordered myself the present of an Insta360 One RS using a small back pay windfall I got this month.

Replacement compression top and merino base layer for the ones the nurse cut off 10 days ago. Main present was being out of hospital a couple of days before though. Which always makes things better.

Too much. I love my family. Clothing, reading material. Nice foodie treats. A mega jigsaw that's killing us. Highlight is a forging session.

I'm going to make a big machete thing to attack my garden with.

Nothing bike related at all ☹️

Did get a Trangia triangle though. So that will be a fun addition to family bike rides
