i maybe around Haslingden at some point over whe weekend and wondered is there are any routes close to the reservoirs just out side the town, i know you can walk there but have been told today that no bikes are allowed around the area, any one any routes i can go on????????

Just found this post.... do NOT ride anywhere up the valley, around the reservoirs or above the town. There's a farmer there who hates MTBers, I've had two run-ins with him over the years, the second time he chased a bunch of us in his Landy and ranted like a lunatic at us.
