I have had a Hans Dampf as a front tyre for a year or so ,,, I it off for the winter and put on some Mud Xs. Now I put the HD back on, it appeared that the shoulders ahem perished ... the have little lines following the blocks of tread.
The tyre was stored clean, but was hung up with no real weight on it. And the perishing seems to be all around ... not in one place...
Anyone had similar problems?
Yes. I don't think I've ever worn out an HD, I always replace due to side nobbles splitting and coming off. I've moved over to Maxxis now so we'll see how well they last.
I had two fail so I sent them back to wiggle no questions asked refund , I reckon there must have been a dodgy batch .
Thanks, just looked at the order date ... 2015 ...
o even they haven't been used ( in one case) and used lightly in another, I doubt I can claim. But good to know it is a brand to avoid.
