What’s a decent biking backpack to replace my very old DaKine Nomad? Want something similar in size and ideally as stable as poss over rough and steep terrain. Usual pockets/features etc and a decent bladder (tho I might just buy another Platypus to use with it so that’s not essential). Any current favourites? Good deals anywhere? Thanks.

Various osprey, camelbak and evoc in our house. Evoc just seem to fit me the best.

Not a recommendation but I've had my last 2 Camelbak's from TK Maxx at way, way below rrp. Worth a look if you've got a local branch but they don't always have them.

My current one is a proper backpack as opposed to a superlight slimline thing but still only enough room for essentials. It stays comfortably in place despite me seeking out the most uncomfortable trails. Don't think it's bike specific but no complaints. I'll check the model name later.
