Would be run tubeless, mavic states upto 2.3 on this rim.
If this is gonna be too big, what other options similar to the Hans are there?

I'm going for the same set up,,just bought a pair of HD's to go on my 819 rims,,waiting for sealant and tubeless valves then I'll be using them on my hardtail,will have to wait and see

Kimber's - nae bother= no problem??
Did they feel wobbly at all in cornering?

yeah rode a few rounds of the UK gravity enduro series
cornering was fine,

Erm...depends on presssure, rider weight, etc, maybe?

Edit 2mm not going to make a huge difference tho.

Hans Damfs are 2.35 only iirc

Plus claimed tyre sizes tend to be a stab in the dark at best...

I've got a set of 2.3 Bontrager XR4 29ers tubeless on 719 rims. They work fine, but I'm not convinced it gives the best tyre profile (sort of makes the tyre a bit "light bulb" shaped). It definitely affects how the tyre feels as I've used the same tyres on wide rims.

Thanks for all responses, I only weight a tad over 11 stone but would love the option to run lower pressures.
What else is similar to the Hans but comes in a 2.25 size?
