Before you say anything it is not my bike. I offered to help fix up a bike for a friend's son. He has managed to bend the mech, mech hanger, QR and twist the chain "just riding along".
Anyway, I have checked Wheels Manufacturing and they don't do a hanger for it. So does anyone know where I can source one? Any Halfords employees on here who can let me know if Halfords stock hangers for Carrera? I can't get up to the local store until lunchtime and I can see a phonecall being frustrating.
IIRC halfords have rear mech hangers that are universal for their appollo and carrera bikes.... last time i saw one it was just up on the wall along with the rest of the stuff... not hidden behind a counter or anything.
i might be wrong, but this is what my mind is telling me.
and whats wrong with a fury? 😯
kona type H, if I remember correctly from when I had a fury (good bike, btw).
I'm on a phone otherwise I'd Google and check that. Think I got it from wiggle, but it was a while ago.
Nowt wrong with Cararras. Solid bikes.
I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to get one from a store, or order one.

its the same as the Kona type H one and they have them in stock at most halfords.
Nope, it is nothing like that one unfortunately. If it was I could have got the Wheels one out of stock.
I reckon we may be talking about different Furys. This is a Y framed full sus thing with a really cheap rear shock.

Hey Mister P, did you manage to get a hanger after for the fury?
I've had to resort to this bike for the time being and recently done it back up to working condition with everything new....except the hanger, did you get one for it all?
I tried getting the super bud model from wiggle but are completely out of stock.
Any help with this guys?

Thanks Don, i've scoured that page till my eyes bled..... o.k. bit of an exaggeration but they did hurt a bit.
Any idea which would fit as i don't have the old hanger to match the settings of the holes. I've even mailed the guy selling the bike if he could help and take a photo for me, but it came back with a two word reply...charming chap!
Just to let you know, i had it in the post today from BETD, took a chance on number 113 and it was bang on!
