Hi All,
I bought a Voodoo Bizango to see if I like the 29er thing and also share the bike with my wife for family canal trail outings.
The bike is in great condition and a quick test ride yesterday was good.
However the handlebars seem wrong! They seem to droop down when every other bike I have had have the handlebars pointing up a little. I guess that this could have been the previous owners preference or potentially a mistake from the original Halfords bike wizards.
My question is should the bars sort of go down to the stem or is having the grips effectively lower than the stem a good thing?
Cheers
Alastair
Personal preference, maybe the guy before had dodgy wrists? Or thought it looked good.
Rotate them round to where they look right. If you feel like playing, ride for a bit, try rotating forward a bit then back a bit and see what you prefer. You might want to shift the levers round a little so they're still in a sensible position.
Cheers Ned - will try, spin and relocate the controls!
Halfords set up bars proper wrong, I've got a bizango and it was the first thing I did when I got it home. Then I swapped the bars for something wider ๐
