went there weekend.
1st time since may 2011.
Nice new section at the back taking you all the way down to the grove.
ACE!!.

got to say 25mins away from me it's now a rival for glentress as thats 2 hours away.

The trailbuilders have done an excellent job and made the most of what they have.

Was there last summer, it´s great far better than it was. Was visiting the folks in Consett, ended up spending more time at Hamsterley than anywhere else.

I agree. It's got a great selection of stuff there now. Well worth a visit.

I've only ridden that new bit on the Red once (Transmission and Accelerator?, and the bottom wasn't quite finished, but have to agree that it's lovely. Really like the stuff from the DH car park down as well (Section 13, Brain Freeze and Special K?).

yes it's all good.
i like the variation between the old 90's black route bits that are all rooty then the new swoopy stuff is super fun.
it's pretty sweet ;o)
