We've got a Hamax child seat to fit on the wifes bike, the only problem being that the frame is small and even with the attachement bracket as high up the seat tube as it can be, the bottom of the seat rubs the rear tyre when BB Jr is in it.
What's the solution (if any)? Can you get longer bars from the seat to the attachment bracket, or does this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24361 allow the seat to be attached directly to the top of it?

Have you thought of getting a Wee seat ( http://www.totalbike.com/reviews/B000FIH0EG/Child%20Seats/) much better set up..
Failing that got for the trailer option!
Actually, a bit more focussed googling reveals that Humax do make additional bars for odd/small frames - £16 on these will be cheaper than a whole new system. Just got to try and find someone who stocks them now......
