Anyone else manage on last night?
I ended up doing one accidentally after my post-service shakedown / gear-fettling ride took longer than expected. Ended up bombing around the woods on my own in the dark with only a backup LED and the bats for company. It was ace.
Yeh, wasn't planning on it but I had my bike at work, so I nipped round for a wee run after. Was amazing weather.
i did Rollapaluzas [i]Muddy Hell[/i] at Herne Hill - 40 mins of absolute pain for me on my SS CX bike but great fun and a fantastic event, hopefully it'll become an annual event
Yes, and it was so still the woods were full of rather spooky mist... Mud-splattered clothing was also one of the best costumes in our neighbourhood!
Rode from Camden Town to 'Muddy Hell' at Herne Hill and back again. Got lost SOuth of the river both ways and ended up with about 3 hours.
Did it on my mtb ss and it was great fun. No mud though!
