Notice Toyota owners club have a 15% halfords discount (for 16 quid membership). Anyone know if this can be stacked with the BC 10% discount?
The Ford Owners club 15% discount can be stacked with any other promotions Halfords offer. It doesn't mention third part discounts though.
Don't expect the person on the till to have a clue how to make it work though....(you might be able to use this to your advantage!!)
Alternatively it's very easy to get a Halfords Trade card, they were falling over themsevlves to give me one, I'm an employee, but I've got one the in the company name.
Now that's interesting as have my own business, what sort of discounts do you get on bike bits with the trade card?
The Ford Owners club 15% discount
I wonder if this can be stacked with the Toyota and the BC one ๐
My mates got a Trade Card and he is a joiner.
They are really pushing them at the moment so that the prices on consumables are more in line with Motor Factors.
Halfords mark up on bulbs etc are verging on criminal.........
Trade cards work on auto (car parts and tools etc) stuff only, not bike or camping stuff. It gives you a discount which brings their stuff down to motor factor prices so there is not a fixed discount rate.
You shouldn't be able to stack BC / Toyota discounts as the discount goes through the till as a coupon code and usually only one coupon can be used on each transaction. You can use love to shop vouchers along with BC discount though, and remember they price match other websites.
The only way you can stack discount is if one of them is an actual code you can input on the web site.
I know the BC one is only available at the till, but I have used a 10% off discount code on the web site to pre-order a collect at store and then used my BC card to get a further 10% off at the till when paying.
didnt find the trade card all that helpful
yes it brings the price down (and vehicle parts and tools only ) but they still dont carry decent stock of anything so i always used to end up at the motorfactors - coupled with my local motorfactors being staffed by folk who it seems spent some time on the tools so are knowledgable about whats what and not just lifting part numbers off the shelf.

Ooh, BC discount to buy vouchers, then BC discount to buy the item itself with the vouchers? 20% off? Possible?
dont forget your quidco on both ๐
