[Closed] gxp bb driveside seal retention?

So I thought I had a worn out bb as there was play on the driveside crank of my gxp bb but it turned out the driveside seal which is of a top hat design in that it sits into the bearing and acts as a sleeve aswell as covering the outside face had come out. I checked the SRAM techdocs but it doesn't really show it and having stripped, cleaned and reassembled it, it did it again on the next ride ๐Ÿ™ The bearings aren't perfect but are still totally usable, the slop inteh crank arm comes when the sleeve part of the seal goes awol. Anyone any similar experiences? How is the driveside seal meant to be retained/stay in as the driveside effectively floats as the crank and axle is bolted up on the non drive side on the gxp system.

I've got a new bb on order and yes I know I can get hope ones and an adapter kit for the gxp but would like to get a bit more life out of these bearings if I'm missing something obvious and can stop the seal falling out?!

cheers,

Andrew.
