Having done numerous bearing swaps on HT2 BB's I thought i'd do the same on my Truvativ GXP BB. So I ordered the Hope GXP converter and some 61805 bearings assuming that the two together would work for the narrower non-drive side on the Truvativ chainset.
They don't.
The Hope GXP converter shims are smaller in diameter than the inside of the bearing, but how does this work if they are supposed to fit round a HT2 spindle?
Cant quite get my head around this tonight, has anyone tried this with success, and if so how?
