GX Axs battery / mech issue

So I have AXS on both my bikes. It the GX version not type T.

whilst riding tonight the mech stopped shifting. I removed and refitted the battery and all good. The app showing good battery life. As soon as I ride anything rough it disconnects. Release give it a wiggle and alls good again( stop and repeat,)

I presume the connection are an issue so what can you clean them with ?

if it’s not that, do the mounts become worn ?

is it new battery time?

Either pogo pins or battery. I had that issue,  changed pins. But it was the battery

On mine, I had to brush out the pocket that the battery sits in. I think there was some dirt or debris at the front, which (I think) meant that the battery was pushed a little out of position and not reliably in contact with the two small contacts. After cleaning it out with a dry brush, it’s been fine since. Not easy to find a brush which fits in there though.

Thanks for the replies.

I did not know the pins on the mech move. I’ll take a look at that first and give the general area a clean. Isopropyl alcohol ok to use?

The pogo pins are a known weak point. SRAM's response is "Buy a new mech"... 🤬

The PCB they are mounted on should be a replaceable part but it's not.

If you can solder I have some pins you can have.
