Anyone done it? Is it good? Any companies people would recommend. Thought these guys looked good.

If not Morocco, then where else in Europe would be good? Not interested in Alps. Looking for a bit of adventure....
Cheers

Not been to Morocco with them but been to Spain with them many times.
Been twice, once with KE adventure, would not recommend and once with ciclomaroc which I definitely would.
Marco runs ciclo Montana in the Alpujarra which many people also recommend.
Been to Spain with Marco and Morroco, both were very very good and I'd recommend either.
Morroco trip was excellent, riding was on the easier end of Gnarr and what I'd call XC, but it was still very good. Tbh we went fir the cultural experience and the riding, not just the riding. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable, the food was great (and plenty of it) accommodation was excellent, only time we bunked was at the Ski resort.
I went with a couple of mates on Freeridemorocco's point to point tour. We'd been with Freeridespain many years before, and knew Simon who runs it from that. I think you should expect more pedalling than say a holiday in the Alps, goes without saying.
If you want some culture with your biking holiday then this is it! Staying in basic bunk houses or if you wish, in your sleeping bag out on their rooves under the stars. You meet with the van every lunch time and the guys prepare a full on cooked picnic. Most of the bunk houses are out in the countryside with no tarmac'd roads in sight. The riding is quite varied, ranging from very steep and exposed downs to an hour or two pedal up a fire road or along the tarmac.
Recommended!
Never been but am planning to try this in the summer

Has anyone been with this company ?
Cannot recommend freeridemorocco highly enough. A buddy and I went there in 2013 for a week and had an absolute blast. The riding was amazing. Lots of climbing, but totally worth it.
As I understand it most other companies out there ride primarily on dual-track/fairly basic trails. Simon's trails are very technical (lots of singletrack) so expect to be challenged, but if you're up for it it's a hell of an experience.
Don't expect cushy alps-style accommodation- it's very basic, but that's all part of the experience IMO.
Having just had our first kid there's no way I'll be going again this year, but was thinking about it for next season.
A few of us were out there with Ciclo in 2014. It was tough, but amazing.
Definitely recommend Morocco and Freeride Morocco - this really is an awesome trip. Pretty technical in places, but brilliant! Been twice and will go again!
Another recommendation for Freeride Morocco - great technical riding, proper out of the way, authentic gite accommodation and a really cool place to visit. Oddly it reminded me a little of Nepal. I don't honestly think the riding is that different from southern Spain, but with a more exotic feel. The day in Marrakesh at the end is fun too.
