Just received my GUB BB with ceramic bearings. Bought on a whim as it were as I figured it can't be any worse than the Enduro bearings.

I've heard two comments, one that it's stiff, and one that it lasts ages.

I guess the proof will be in the pudding, but anyone else been tempted by one of these? (the BB not the pudding)

How did you find it?

Nik, where did you get it from? Ebay?
I'm just looking at getting another Hope, and wondering how to save a few quid.

Hi Paul,

Yep, ebay a gogo. The setup looks the same as shimano units with a spacer between the axle and the bearings, so I imagine they are replaceable.

I asked the question and got this answer:

"Yes, the bearings in the bottom bracket are replaceable, but it is quite diffcult to remove the bearing yourself, because the size bearings are perfect fitting on the bottom bracket. Thanks"

I've ordered one now ๐Ÿ™‚
