Ok - I still haven't convinced myself that 29ers are the way to go - the original plan was to sell the Soul frame, wheels , forks.
And then build up a 29er Solaris ...
How ever, if I cost that out , I could get a complete Zaskar 29ers for that, with a good spec.
GTs used to be good - are they still there , or has their star waned?

I've seen and felt the GT team bikes and the seem pretty amazing, very light with the right bits, depends what you want it for though IMO Zaskar is a xc/race bike, Solaris a trail bike

£1500 gets the Zaskar. For that you get Solaris + Rebas + £300 wheels.
Assuming your other bits are OK, I know what I would go for (in fact probably will, as all I need is the frame)
