I have bought a new token bottom bracket and the bearings feel a bit gritty. I don't really want to send it back but is this normal? Is there a way to open it up, clean it out and repack it with grease?

Defo not right.
I have several Token BBs and they are all super smooooooth.
Mine are all square taper or ISIS and are not user-servicable items.
