I got some sunline grips off CR. They seem very tight when going on. They scratched my Easton CNT bars so I didn't try and push too hard. Any tips? Cheers, Josh

Are they Lock Ons or not?
If no, try some hairspray. Acts as a lubricant, then dries to form a mild adhesive. Top tip.

They aren't the best lock on design - completely remove the grub screw. Bit of grease to stop them scratching?
Oh, and don't overtighten the end caps or they just wreck the plastic (I almost did this)

is the grub screw/screws the one that tightens the lock on clamp? I'll give that a go...

I only use non-lock-on grips on carbon bars now.
Far too easy to scratch or overtighten them.
