Thinking of getting one of these gravel grinders but which one and why would I want one?
I want one to act as a winter bike foremost so must be able to fit mudguards but chuck some chunkier tyres on it and mix up the tarmac and do some forest type trail rides to link up the roads in the summer to break the normal tarmac only rides.

Bikes I'm interested in are

Genesis datum
Ridley x-trail
Specialised diverge
Kinesis Crosslight or 4s or tripster
Cube attain sl disc
Jamis renegade

I think I've listed all makes and models in this category. ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyone else gone down this route and what did you opt for and why.
