I’ve just finished building up a Cotic Escapade with a Rohloff and a Jones H-Bar. It’s to replace my daily commuter which sadly died a death. First 5 miles have left me with a smile. I’ll post with a more detailed ride review after I’ve put in some miles.

One question, as you’ve put flat bars on why did you go for the escapade rather than the roadrat?

it’s certainly unique. Afraid of getting lost on your commute?

Some very nice kit for a commuter

@riddoch – I think it’s the same exact bike with a different name – bigger downtube on the roadrat but same geometry. @jekkyl – that would be nice – I do have some non-commuting plans too!

You have a compass on your bike! How far do you commute 😯

@monkeysfeet – far enough to need the bell on the compass
