I vaguelly remember someone posting a map that showed all the rides they had made with their GPS (must have been over a 100 individual rides on a single map) so it looked a bit like an airline route map with all the destinations and hubs. What sort of program or website allows this to be displayed? The files will be from a garmin 800.
Garmin connect ftw
I had this idea the other week. A bit like the artist in 'Walking on Glass' wanting to create a map showing the commute for every person in London in a different coloured line.
I'm going to be annoyed if someone else has already done it.
Edit: Book was walking on glass, not the bridge.
Already on garmin connect but you have to click on the icon to then see a single route plotted
Will give google earth a go that should do the trick.
Already planning a few routes that will spell rude words out when plotted together ๐
I use 'sportypal' on my Android HTC. I think that that does it IIRC
Try the GPSies website. Once you have signed up you can upload all your rides only to download them again if needed (in multiple formats)
You can also see others rides in the area as well as walking and other activities if you so wish.
P.S. they also do an 'app' so you can upload /download to your smartphone on the fly and follow the route.
Pretty comprehensive site.
