Anyone got any bad words to say about these?

Currently I'm using the older Fusion (think it's XCR), which is a bit warmish- it seems like Active Shell is a big leap forward, but is it light enough for all year round use, and how does it feel/function next to skin?

Another bugbear with the old jacket for me is the cuff- it's a struggle getting my hands out when taking the jacket off- is there any stretch to the cuff?

I have one of these jackets. Yes - it's a LOT more breathable than previous incarnations of GoreTex, in fact I'd say it's probably better than eVent.

Inside, it's a very fine scrim. A bit like XCR but with a tighter weave. It's not that plastic/rubber thing that Paclite uses.

The cuffs are tightened up with velcro. There is no stretch in them. I don't know how wide it is compared to the old Fusion but I can measure mine if it helps (mine is a Medium).

It's certainly very light and will roll up small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. You could make it smaller by cutting off the hood if you think you'll never need it ๐Ÿ™‚
