The nice Santa chap has offered to bring me one of these ๐Ÿ˜€

Reviews look good and about to press the buy button. Most of my riding tops are L. I do have a Gore short sleeve base layer that is XL though, and an Alp X Jersey which fits fine in L. Chest about 41, waist 34 (in jeans etc) and 5ft 10. not sure whether L or XL ?

cheers

I am 6ft, and chest size is about 42". I have an XL Countdown, it is fractionally baggy, but ok. I am sure I could wear a L too, but I guess it could be a bit tight. Unless you were planning to weat lots under it I would go for the large.

Good bit of kit, I have used it on a few wet rides (including 12hrs in the rain at Thetford) and I have been very impressed with it.

Thanks Jason, I am feeling that I am kinda in between sizes, but that helps, as I would only wear it over a single layer. Will probs go for L

cheers

XXL Countdown here, after I found the Xenon XL to be too small & paper like material wise. Size 34" for jeans... though 36 for other trousers..and no idea what my chest measurement is (XXL...).
Though assuming you buy it from wiggle, their return and swap process is prompt and trouble free.

Might be worth checking out this thread though, as the Scott stuff should be as good as the Gore, but much much cheaper.

Large for me, taller than you though.

Great addition for summer evenings and where you just need that extra bit of clothing.

I am a M in general and have a M gilet, slim fit but I like it that way.
