My Maverick with CheezyBeanz's Orange, Painswick Beacon a few weeks ago.

You don't deserve that Maverick if you're going to Ghey it up with Mudguards.

Be that as it may, it was a VERY wet ride and my arse was only slightly damp by the end of it (nigh on 5 hours in the saddle)... CB on his Orange was I think a fair bit damper 😉

Here's one on its maiden ride then... Leaning against a tree... In bottom gear cos it was the top of a long steep hill (before you say anything)!

I assume that the Maverick only comes with three inches of travel? Once tried that sort of rear gaurd set low down on the Coiler and remebered after belting it with the rear wheel six inches minimum of room was required!
