Rode Flat White yesterday (Ignoring signs that said forestry operations/ don't pass signs) Saw stationary vehicles and there was no noise so thought ' must be OK'

2/3 way down - there they were! Right next to the trail - very scary and dangerous I was embarrassed by my recklessness.

So just to warn folks as I know it can be very busy - DON'T GO THERE or past any signage - apparently work will be going on for a couple of months.

The last thing we need is bad press/ risk to anyone. If someone is seen they have to stop all work (I've been told) and do a risk assessment before carrying on.

Are you related to the lorry driver who ignored the signs on the FRB earlier and got blown over?

I was embarrassed by my recklessness.

Do you think the comments that followed were necessary?

Where are the signs? At the top of Flat White or on the access road? I read a few weeks ago that forestry work was impacting on Lone Wolf and trails out that direction...

Sorry, but you're telling people not to do what you did not doing what you were told not to do?
Aren't you the clever one.
Have you ever licked a 9v battery before? You really shouldn't do that either.
*facepalm*

I wonder what the risk assessment was like for taking 30 tons of trees + truck along uncompacted dirt tracks? 🙂
