Went on Friday, not much snow, about 2-3" and all pretty much packed down now. Few icy patches to watch out for, but apart from that it was all good. Smoothes out some of the bumpier tracks! I didn't stay out for too long or go too high, because I was frozen, but even Winter Hill looked ok.

I only managed out for a walk yesterday, as I was tied up with 'baby stuff' all weekend.

There was a thaw, with rain that has since re-frozen hard. Some of the lesser well trodden/ridden trails will be ok, as the untouched surface will be pretty solid and grippy.

The bits that have been compacted, which have then frozen will be crazy! Watched as a bunch of guys rode past the kennels, as I was coming down from the Two Lads, and you could hear them from about 2-300 metres away - not from their ProII hubs, but from the ice/frost cracking under them! ๐Ÿ˜€

Was out on Sunday morning, lower down its like a skating ring due to the partial thaw on Saturday, up near the mast the snow is about 6 inches deep and frozen, I found it impossible to ride the path across smithills moor. Apart from that it was perfect ๐Ÿ˜€
