cb - the minimum order is 20-tees, so if I see enough 'bugger, missed this' posts, I'll open the shop again for some more orders. But for now, I've got my hands full getting these 141 out.
I did consider ordering some extras, but the spread of colours and sizes made it unfeasible.

If CB needs an XL in black, he can have mine - I ordered a green XL as well.

I would have expected, given the inspiration for this t-shirt, that you would happily take pre-orders on 972 different t-shirt designs made from at least 7 different materials from 6 suppliers, charging at least £100 each for them, and then get busy deleting negative comments from your insta feed?

I've ordered 2, took a punt that they'd be ready in a timely and professional manner and set them for UK delivery!
I'll be in Blighty till the 14th, any chance of a 'priority' distribution so I can fly home with mine?
Pretty please and thanks 🙂

teethgrinder - thanks for the offer but unless these are 'on the small side' I'd need a L rather than XL.

Good job AlexSimon, hopefully 19 others have been as inept as me and still want shirts!

What about granting people as-needed permission to use your artwork on the proviso they make a contribution to the fund? There are places around that will do direct inkjet printing for small runs (some will do 1) at a not unreasonable cost. They probably arent quite as good as a "proper" run

Long update!

Most tees and packing boxes arrived on Friday, so the weekend was spent making boxes, doing a mail merge (never done before), sticking labels, folding t-shirts and taping them up, then slicing them open because we had 4 missing tees at the end, then resealing them all, then panicking because we had one tee left over, etc, etc.

There was an error in the supplied numbers affecting 9 orders, which I've emailed those 9 directly about.

First, I got a minion to help fold up all the boxes:

I didn't want to use plastic bags and wanted to guarantee Large Letter sizing, so went with boxes, but I think if I were to do it again, I'd use some kind of biodegradable plastic because it was a pretty painful part of the job - making and taping them up.

This is only about 30 of the 140!

Then we mail merged, printed the labels and stuck them on boxes

Then I got a minion to help fold up all the tees

See the typical STW size distribution! S top 2XL bottom

140 boxes times 4 of these per box means the house has got 560 of these on the floor

Then we boxed and taped all the packages

They are now with the local postie for processing and being sent today Second Class (2nd = more money for Mountain Rescue).

Apologies again to the 9 delayed orders - I've contacted the t-shirt printers this morning to inform them of their error and will update as soon as I know more.

Enjoy!

Will they now sit in a distribution centre hub for 6 months awaiting dispatch?

Great work!

I see the minion has dexterous hands, what with the completed Rubik’s cube...

Yep, he's the only one in the house that can do that.

I'm always doing stupid things like this. I'm hoping she still finds it charming 🙂

And to think all you need to do now is send your frame design to Mario in Peru and you have a bike company.

Right, what's next for the Sickstarter campaign?

Excellent work. Using cardboard instead of plastic may have been hassle but you have my appreciation for that for one. Thanks.

There's a chance, but a minimum order of 20 tees I think. So far I think I've only counted one other person posting. Let me get these all out the door first 🙂

I really hope those tools at Sick! read this .
Puts their T shirt business to shame, and they are in the T shirt business.
I will wear mine with pride in Majorca at the end of the month

Excellent effort - thanks to all involved.

For next time, the Team Cortado t-shirt (Injured Rider thread on front page) was delivered in high quality paper bag 🙂

This is brilliant.

Cheers for all the effort.

Shall be wearing mine with pride as i drive to the local trail centre in search of Gnar, with my Gnarpoon attached to my over priced German estate wagon.

Do we know the final figure that is being donated to the mountain rescue?

Thanks again.

Well we're not fully there yet - still 10 packages to post including abroad, but it should be in excess of £400, which I keep having to double-check because it sounds too good to be true.

Thanks AlexSimon. Looking forward to receiving mine. Hopefully it has different arms or the wrong neck hole. Only then will it be a true sickalike!
