Anyone been up or know what conditions are like driving to Glyncorrwg and riding round W2?
We are travelling a long way and spent ages coordinating the time off so keen not to let a little snow get in the way of a day out?
i drove through swansea yesterday and the hills looked fine but not sure what it would be like further up the valley. ur better off calling the shop
Morning mate, I'm just off J36 of the M4, main roads around here are fine, I met Paulio of here last night at Afan Lodge and we had a good couple of hours in the dark around sections of the trails. All rideable in my opinion, if icy in patches, ground was very solid, with a fair old wind up at the top, just wrap up warm and be aware that what was once an undulating track with a series of water "splashes" is now a flatish trails with some very slippy bits on it (that would be the technical term for it), as for the road into Glyncorrwg itself, give Skyline a call, as cubemeup suggested.
I called them a while ago and I quote "the snow is hammering down" will call back later hoping for better news.
