I'm thinking about replacing my hayes 9s with shimano saints (twin pots), anyone used them? I feel guilty for not buying hopes, should I look at the new(ish) m4 or the v2? or are they just pricey and a bit agricultural? I loved my c2s for years, but once I used some avids, the setup seemed very fiddly in comparison (shims, squeaking..)

i have the new saints and i think they're awesome, truely awesome. i wouldn't consider any other brake. i'm the same, i wanted hope but i've had numerous problems with them in the past, and speaking to people on here, i chose shimano. shimano are leading the way with brakes at the mo i think, the new xt's are excellent also.
