Going to Gisburn on Tues to give a friend a well deserved break, what are the conditions like?

Thanks,

There is a tree down on the Hope Line according their Facebook page. I'd imagine it's alright up there, Gisburn holds up fairly well, other than the second half of Hully Gully.

I was there on Saturday, all fine. A few puddles in places but all firm under tyre.

Was bloody windy though!

Oh and be aware that the cafe is only open at weekends over winter.

Check the pay and display situation too. Think the charges are now in force. £3 from what I've heard.

Charges not enforced as yet in car parks (based on last weeks experience) Machines in Cocklet Hill car park were still covered on Wednesday last week when I was there.
Hully Gully riding well as is the new section of red "swoopy" the first section of red is just great from car park down to the reservoir

Pay and display is working at both car parks so make sure you take £3

Watch out for ice today on the boardwalks, particularly the one just after the quarry by the Hope Line.
