I always ran mine with sag to make it more active for trail riding so i would think a non specific shock would be ok unless you want to run true no sag

How much would it affect the responsiveness of the bike?

Does anyon know where i can get the break cable ferrels as there the only thing that i cant get hold of!

Buff .....virtually anywhere that sells bikes or bike stuff! btw they are called ferrules and should be cheap.

No, not so mate! i've been to my Giant specialist and beeline bikes another specialist, the center cabel run under the frame is quite wide and requires a split ferrule which is larger than most ferrules and not alot of bikes take these day's, so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
