[Closed] MTB Injury - Anyone ever had a dislocated rib?

Had a crash last night, got it all wrong on a small jump in local woods [it seemed to have become more of a 'kicker' since I last rode it?] and landed very badly.

To cut a long story short, after a few hours in A+E it seems I have a dislocated rib, manifesting itself in a lump sticking out of my chest and feeling very sore.
Dr's can't do anything, they say it should relocated when swelling dies down.
Anyone had any experience of this, will it return to normal? Would manipulation from a chiropractor help in time?
