Shopping List:

20" tube, the expensive schwable one, rather than the shonkey crap one.
6.99

tube of speccy sealent:
3.99

Break my favorite tyre levers :,(
fail to get it to inflate at home with the track pump.

Car garage: 50p for air!!! tsk, its AIR!
doesnt even work a little bit 🙁

Spin down to bike shop instead (open late on a thursday)
Find my sexy clean trance has a creak. must be a loose/dry BB or something. ALSO, having ridden my short ass on-one for a month or 2, getting back on the 21" trance with 100mm stem feels horrendous.
i NEED a new stem.

CO2 cart and head: 16.99

which worked, but then it went right back down again and fell off the bead
🙁

Pft, i'll cut my losses and stick with DH tubes i think 🙁
or should i stick with it, it may be because the speccy tyre sealent is quite gloopy? does it not need to be quite watery?
hmm, would cost the price of some more CO2 carts though 🙁

Ghetto tubeless is crap, sympathy please

Troll? Reading the umpteen how to's on here - 0p
Tesco 20" tube £1.21
Don't use pay for air digital compressors.
16.99 for CO2???? - they saw you coming - tyreinflators.co.uk
Sealant in a tube??? Think you're using toothpaste! Stan's or Joe's.
If I were you I'd just stick to tubes.

The Spesh sealant is absolutely rubbish, Stan's is the way forward.

ive read most of the How to's,
and was balls deep into it when i went to the bike shop, so wasnt really too interested in getting online at work, and waiting for the things to be delivered.

20" tube from Ebay 99p
Liter of Stans sealant £6.99
Plenty of washing up liquid to lubricate the bead.
Part worn High roller went on without tyre levers to a Mavic Xm321 rim, inflated first time but went down, so reinflated & went for a ride - that was August & its still fine with zero puntures.

Trailseeker, where are you getting 1 litre of Stans for £6.99, cheapest I can find is £18 for a quart.
No problems with Ghetto at all, been running for 18 months now.

Can you remove the cores from those cheap inner tubes to get the sealant in or is there another way?

Pour it in before you put the second tyre bead on.

Stans fluid is the best for sure

Also get a presta/schrader converter and take it to a car tyre fitting place if it won't seat. You need a proper blast of high pressure air unlike most forecourt air lines. My local tyre place is always happy to do it and don't charge anything.

Yep, Ebay tubes have removeable cores stated in the ad.
Sorry, it was 500ml from HERE - they had a BOGOF offer on them

i think i'll clean the crap out of it, save the split inner tube, run a tube this weekend, and get some stans and take it to my car tyre place next week...
