anyone know how to do this?

And is it possible to do it with HD content - and have the playback anywhere close to HD quality

I have a macbook at my disposal - so I'm guessing I would need to contect the mac to the V+ box via a cable of some sort, get the files off the box and then convert them to DVD format using handbrake or something?

Thanks

Tim

To a DVD recorder is easy enough
just use the bottom Scart direct to the recorder & select the transfer option in the menu

To a PC?
Unless it has a CVBS input, you'll need a capture card - something like an EZcap

Don't think you can transfer HD though

thanks

I don't have a DVD recorder - and don't really want one

And I'm most interested in getting HD movies stored somewhere more permanent

Oh well - looks like it might be a no go
