Here's how you get Follow Me on iTunes from any country. It super easy and actually works!

Step 1. Get iTunes US Free account
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534

Step 2. Buy an iTunes gift card for iTunes US Store.

Does it not create issues if you want it on an iPod that is synced to a uk iTunes account?

There are no issues with syncing to your ipod. You just have to make sure you authorize your ipod in your us account. Worked for me.

Hmm, when I get to the address page it's set to UK and can't be changed?

Did you change countries on iTunes to US and enter the US Apps store? You need put a "free app" in your basket, then hit "create new account", and not use your existing email from the UK store.

Link from iTunes showing how:

Did all the above + downloaded ok. Can take a few hours for the voucher code to come through (does say on express website maybe up to 24hrs for a new buyer).

Have watched the film a couple of times + is very good - but is only 40mins long. I guess the DVD version may have more content?

FWIW the method in the opening post worked perfectly for me. Delivery of itunes voucher took 2.5 hrs.

Film was great, best section was New Zealand - made me very excited about my trip in December ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm just gonna buy the DVD - should be better quality and better to watch in comfort of my living room than being sat at computer ๐Ÿ˜€ Looking forward to it, the trailer makes it look great and I'm interested in seeing some Canon 7D footage in a proper production ๐Ÿ™‚

The one in the US store is. I think I'm right in saying in the UK you can only rent HD films not buy them so I don't think it will be available in HD when it eventually arrives in the UK iTunes store. Another reason to buy it from the US now.

There are still people that don't have some kind of computer or media player hooked up to their TV? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good point, so it should be better quality so long as its not heavily compressed to make for a smaller download size?

Don't have a media player stream yet, don't even have a HDTV yet haha

HD version is $9.99 on iTunes USA - about 1.5GB file size (if I remember correctly)

Typically American/Canadian style MTB film, some great segments of proper mountain biking interspersed with backflips set to cod-reggae (the latter I just can not relate to).

Superhuman bike skills from Sam Hill. The riding in New Zealand looks awesome.

Bit of a let down in the end... :-/

Beautiful and technically executed to perfection but lacking so muhc of the soul and story in seasons. It's like gratuitous slow-mo money shot after slow-mo money shot that after 10 minutes it just starts to wash over you.

New Zealand segment saved it.

Super Human skills by Sam Hill, seriously! I loved the shore seggy but he was only in half of it and it wasn't exactly super human.
