Picked up a Core 50 tonight through R2W and couldnt resist going for a blast round Carron Valley which is near work.

A very capable, fun, fast trail bike. Climbs well and descends on the swoopy stuff a Carron with gusto! Great confidence inspiring bike, one of the most fun bikes I have ridden in a while- and its aluminium!!! (still like steel though).

I think the best word to describe it is "zingy" ๐Ÿ™‚

Just thought I would share ๐Ÿ™‚

Sounds great. I was torn between a Core 50 build and a Prince Albert. Went for the PA in the end and am delighted. I was attracted by the low weight of the Core but concerned that it might be a bit harsh. The PA certainly feels like it's got some rear suspension !

Enjoy

Ehrr, I have got a PA 853 as well ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I had the same concerns that the Core 50 would be harsh in comparison, on a short blast I didnt notice it, could be something to do with the lightweight aspect.
