[#2112862]

Could someone do me a favour and measure the width from dropout to centre of chain and seat stays and also the width measurement where the tyre tread sits top and bottom.

I'm trying to shoehorn a 26" 3.0 tyre into a frame to build a 1/2 fat bike and the Gazza 3.0 won't quite fit in my Kona Stuff even with nob trimming ooooer! As the Inbred has big clearance it might be a cheaper option + 3.0 Gazza's are like hens teeth in 24" !

Thanks in advance

Do you mean distance from dropout to centre, and then do you just want the centre of the split section of seatstay? Well, that's what I've got for you anyway (from a geared Inbred):

Dropout to centre of chainstay: about 20cm.
Dropout to centre of split section of seastay: about 17.5cm.
Width of chainstay: about 90mm.
Width of seatstay: about 82mm.

That's with measuring where the widest point of a 2.25 Maxxis ADvantage sits. The chainstays start tapering in towards the BB-shel from there, but the seatstay is about 82mm right up to the end. Sorry it's metric, don't own a ruler with imperial ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Brilliant. By the looks of it that should give me a few mm at least in each direction. All I need to do now is get a tatty old Inbred frame ๐Ÿ˜†

Many thanks warpcow.
