Light unit - Nitefighter ordered middle of September. Nothing arrived. Contacted with no response. Paypal claim raised with no response.

Have I just been unlucky?

Unlucky. My 2 orders both arrived within 2 weeks. There are also some unlucky buyers on mtbr, but the majority seem happy. Shame theres risk because the the products are good, a real step up from the original cheapo eBay lights.

Look on mtb. I think there could be a back order problem with nite fighters. I could be wrong though. .

I've recently had e cig stuff delivered from them though. Took a few weeks but all was good. .

Recently had a similar issue with a Nitefighter order. Had read all the good reviews on here so ordered, paid with Paypal, then nothing. After 3 weeks I emailed to ask where it was, at the same time I noticed that my account on their website had not been verified (my mistake obviously!) so I verified it and got a despatch notification with a photo of the address label by return, the package arrived a few days later. Never got a reply to the email so still don't know whether the verification or email did the trick.
Might be worth checking that you didn't make the same mistake as me with your account if this is your first time ordering?
I would happily use them again despite this first time hitch.
Hope that helps?

Ordered a light received within 2/3weeks all good.

Ordered some go pro adaptors after 30days no sign, logged into the web portal to find the order is still marked as 'processing' ,raised this with them and got a response within 24 hrs stating they would be able to ship part of the order straight away and the rest to follow in a week.
No apology or explanation so seems like a bit of a lottery.

I ordered a Nitefighter BT41 - arrived last week after 3 weeks. Took them about 10-11 days to process / dispatch, then same time to travel the world.

Have you logged in to see the status of the order?

I ordered the same light 2 months ago. No light has arrived. No response to emails. No response to PayPal dispute.

There are good reviews on here but they took my money and ran, no communication, nothing. I wouldn't go near them.

Similar situation here. I emailed to ask when the light would be processed after about 1.5 weeks, and they said they were expecting more stock around 15/11/15.

Then unexpectedly it turned up on 04/11/15. About 3 weeks after order.

My first time experience with them has been good.

Ordered a projector on the 30th Oct. Processed within 2 days and they sent me a pic of the box and label. Arrived 9th Nov by Yodel. I dont remember seeing any option when i ordered but i think it was dispatched from a EU/UK warehouse. So no import fee's etc. I usually get stung on bigger items from China.

Ordered from similar Chinese sites and find it can take anywhere between 5 and 45 days. In some rare cases longer.

I have had two BT21s off them and they took 3-4 weeks

I ordered a BT21 Nite Fighter from them and when it hadn't arrived after several weeks I contacted them but no response. I went through the tracking system and found the UK courier and contacted them. They said they had tried to deliver it but it had been refused.

I eventually tracked it down to GearBest had put the wrong address on (despite having the right address in my details) and I had to pay the courier another £12 to get it redelivered to my correct address.

I'm loth to use them again purely because of the lack of response to emails when things go wrong.

I got a reply within a day after raising a ticket on their website.
I don't know if this is usual though.

Ordered my BT-70 weeks ago, then nothing,

Raised a ticket
Nothing, left another note, nothing
Got a response saying (the the effect of) 'it's in the post, chill out'
Responded saying the tracking number was only "pre advised", NLPost hadn't even picked it up yet, so could they check it was definately posted.
Ohh yes, must just be delayed in the post
Hours later the tracking number changed to collected on the PostNL website.
Took 4-5 days to arrive at my door.

I suspect they have stock trickling through and the photographs of the packages are at best empty envelopes. Mine was blury enough on some lines I wondered if it was my address photoshopped onto a generic template.

I've had issues. Ordered light. Didn't turn up. Opened ticket. Agreed to credit my shop "wallet". Didn't get it. Raised new ticket. Told reviewed my case and as no insurance wasn't entitled to anything! But offered me $10 and asked for another $14 to resend light. PayPal dispute started. Won't be going back there!

Never received my order had to wait 60days from order date. Raised a couple of tickets and finally told as I didn't pay for insurance they would only credit me 50% of original payment! Told them to refund me or I'd raise a pp dispute, got a 100% refund.

Won't be going back, DX or Ali from now on.

It's irritating because they've got far less fake crap and rubbish lights on their site, so their buyer presumably knows what they're doing, just the rest of the operation is a shower of feces.

Ordered a BT21 mid September.....no update to order process after 2 weeks. Raised a support ticket and they replied within 24hrs to say it was on backorder and due in stock in 10 days. Only took a few days to arrive once it was dispatched.

Never had an issue with gearbest deliveries, just a shame that the cable pulled out the back of my bt21 after two rides. Now in the bin, can't be arses to have a fight with them.

Placed an order in September, had to wait 60 days to raise a ticket when it didnt show up (November).

No refund for a month despite chasing a couple of times, so raised a Paypal dispute.

As soon as the dispute was raised I received a message saying they cannot refund "Due to Paypal settings, we are therefore unable to refund you as long as the Paypal case is open"

This is where I made my schoolboy error, I closed the Paypal dispute trusting that this was indeed the case and the money would appear in my account within hours.

How wrong I was, no money and unbeknown to me at the time I cannot reopen a Paypal dispute. So now I have no way of getting my cash back and Gearbest are not responding to my Tickets. Lesson learnt there.

Bunch of thieves, will not ever use them again.
