HSD and proper job are fine, i've done them several times on a trail bike and standard helmet. I'd advise against the Black runs though, they're a a lot steeper and more technical. Most of Tavi woods is also decent, it's only 5 mins down the road and you get in with the same pass.

I've done all the routes with an open face the first time I visited. It was absolutely fine. On some of the bigger drops and tracks I would have liked a full face but no stress if not.

Smashed my face up on Super Tavi, face planted into rocks while wearing a full face helmet.

Would have many less teeth now if i wasn't full faced ๐Ÿ™‚

Can't comment on HSD and Egypt as never been down them. The other site down the road is great fun.
Will be going for a shuttle day when summer joins us ๐Ÿ™‚

In short, don't face plant and you will be fine ๐Ÿ™‚
