They show little wear, but are cut to shreds. Is this a characteristic of them, and should I not worry?
Cornering is a little worrying as well, they seem too hard!
My first Conti road tyres in 23 years.
Have I bought a tyre that's best not suited to fast winter training? I've stuck my old Rubinos on for tomorrows long one.
They last well enough in my experience. Wore mine down to the bare skin underneath. Puncture protection is decent. But never been massively confident on wet, greasy roads.
4seasons is my winter choice from the Conti range. Preferably in a 25mm
I spotted Samu Sanchez out training a couple of winters ago and he was on Gatorskins, prob knows a thing or two about fast winter training ๐
Chilterns covered in those tiny flint chips, cuts up all my tyres. Gators flat way less than most tho, once or twice a year for my mileage, I like them. GP 4 seasons on the front grips better but not as durable or flat resistant.
