I am looking for a Garmin Edge, either 830 or 1030.

Do you know any students who might have a Totum card?
Then you could get the new 1030 plus for £390 or the 830 for £262.

That is an outstanding deal (CRC / Wiggle £299 for 1030)
I'd not hang around.
Was looking myself as it's less than I paid for my 830 🙁
