[Closed] Garmin Edge headaches

My 605 still doesnt like talking to my computer. Anyone help?

I want to re-load an old route that I have ridden but have lost from History. On Garmin Connect I click on "Send to Device". The routfile shoes up in Courses as .tcx file but when I go to the device and try and use the file i cant see it.

In the past I've got round this by converting the file to a .gpx file via TCX Converter. Have changed computer and cant get TCX Converter to install.......I shouldnt really have to use that anyway.

Why doesn't the Garmin recognize its own files??????
