They certainly survive 15-20 mins of a 40 degree wash cycle as my wife put my cycles short through the wash the other day - came out very clean and no water in either the usb conection or in the memory card slot! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Yeah, I put my Edge 305 through a complete wash once (it was still in the bottom of my CamelBak) and was amazed when it worked afterwards!
The GPS didn't tell me how many laps of the washing machine it had done though...

If you found it wasn't water proof would have seen if your wife is waterproof too?

๐Ÿ˜‰

Glad it's ok as it's expensive kit to put in the wash.

Go for it mi(c)k - cleaned mine brilliantly ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think my wife would have told me to stick it and "You can wash your own stuff next time" ๐Ÿ™‚

I wouldn't trust my wife to wash my kit, she'd only do something stupid like boil my Assos shorts ๐Ÿ™„

My Mum put my Dad's trousers in the machine back in the 70's -she was distracted by me apparently and forgot to check the pockets.

Right on pay day too when you got paid cash in your wage slip.

Then some relatives showed up and my folks hadn't food shopped. They hanged the cash out to dry on a washing line...

Doh!

Luckily modern times us Men wash our own gear. Yeah right you lazy folks!
