Out today I noticed my 705 was jumping from 0 to anything +/- 5'ish MPH over actual speed.
It's the latest software version, I'm running a cadence sensor, the unit is set to auto wheel size and GPS is enabled.
My total ride distance at the end of today's ride was different to another rider with me that had a 705 (60 miles on my 705, 56 miles on his!)
Anyone else experienced this?

Yes, what Dibbs says. The Edge isn't getting complete info from cadence sensor and is deeply confused by the conflict between the cadence sensor and the GPS.

glad I saw this thread, mine's been doing the same thing! shall replace the battery post haste 🙂
I have the 705 and havn,t experienced any problems at all.But i do not use the cadence sensor.
My Garmin has been doing the same and this seems to have solved it many thanks.
