Does anyone else have a Garmin 520 Plus, have you had any issues with it?
On every ride the screen just goes blank (but still on) with a thick black line through it. Then I have to hold the power button down to turn it off, then turn it back on again.
Its completely random 🙁
I think I might have had that once. Certainly not every ride. Is the software up to date and is there space in its memory?
Could be lack of memory. Plug it into a computer - it will appear as a connected USB drive called "Garmin". Open that in Explorer/Finder and navigate to garmin->Activities and delete everything in there. It's the recordings of your rides so if you haven't saved any it's best to copy them somewhere first.
If you are on a Mac then open the Trash icon from the app bar and empty it. Not sure what you do on Windows at this point. Now you can unmount the device.
Reboot and see how it goes.
