Been quite taken with a couple of 29ers recently and I'm also fancying something new with a warranty. Looking at either a frame at around 6-800 or a full bike at 1500-1800 tops, but cheaper is always welcome.
Hoping to find something fun enough to enjoy knocking about the Quantocks and tough enough for the Mega and other Alpine adventures.
Thoughts and experiences much appreciated.

Evans are still clearing out trailfoxes, including some shopsoiled stock... I'm still gelling with mine so not really going to recommend it, but it's pretty impressive so far- bloomin enormous, and doesn't try and hide that it's a big, long travel bike so that might be divisive...
*bookmarks* Interested too, especially in the Trailfox but worry that it would be "too much bike" (which usually is bloody good fun regardless!).

A successful thread. thanks for the suggestions chaps. Looked at the BMCs, but Fox CTD rather puts me off a bike.
