I’ve just got my first full face lid - which fits well, but how much pressure should the cheek pads provide? Don’t know which I should choose between the narrower ones that feel snug and the thicker ones that definitely squash my cheeks.
Which should it be? I’m yet to actually ride with the helmet on

They should be fairly tight against your cheeks. Over time they'll compress anyway.
It will feel weird at first, but it won't be long before you get used to it.

As ^, a properly fitting FF should be giving you hamster cheeks. Doesn't need to be painfully tight but does need to not be free to move around.
